Open Letter to Premier Kenney and Alberta MLAs

In light of the recent interviews from a couple of creditable Alberta Health Services (AHS) employees, the UCP government and AHS management have two options:
Continue to double down on your proposed plan to require AHS employees/contractors to receive two doses of the COVID-19 mRNA treatment prior to October 31, 2021, or;
Allow our frontline heroes to continue doing what they do best, save lives.
It is evident that our healthcare system is broken. It is clear that these problems existed long before COVID-19. It is also clear that these issues will persist unless we embrace change.
We need solutions for the issues we face. Not more mandates, division and anger.
Suggestions for your consideration:
Stop demonizing our frontline heroes.
End the vaccine mandate.
Listen to all frontline staff for ideas on how to improve patient care.
Take steps to drastically reduce the size and scope of AHS management and move decision making to local unit managers.
Explore all potential early treatment options in order to better combat COVID and reduce the strain on our health care system.
I support our brave frontline heroes, their bodily autonomy and their ability to provide quality care to all Albertans, regardless of vaccination status. Will you do the same?
