I do it better than anyone else around because of my proprietary process - ‘Legacy Strategies’. This process has been developed based on the merger of applicable technical skills and real world business experience.

I specialize in working with fast growth companies including oil & gas consultants, building trades contractors, professional service providers, farm families and rental corporations.

My expertise is behind the ‘Legacy Strategies’ process and it is the cornerstone of all the services I deliver including: managed private client services, specific consulting engagements, online training and keynote speaking.

My Story
I was born into a family of small business owners. One grandfather was a farmer, the other an accountant. My parents operated a residential construction business for 30+ years. Small business is the economic engine of my family and Canada.
​
After spending a few years after high school in the Alberta oilfield and construction industries (including as owner-operator of a flat work concrete company), I returned to school in 2009 and now hold the designations of CPA, CGA, TEP. I have been happily married to my amazing wife since 2014 and I am the proud father to an awesome son.

Now, with 10+ years of experience in the accounting industry, I couple my technical skills with real world business experience to ensure you are provided with a unique accounting, tax, estate and consulting experience.
​
My support for small business has been at its strongest since early 2020 when devastating government policy decisions resulted in the closure of many of my friends, family and client’s businesses. This culminated in my decision to run as a candidate in the 2021 federal election. Since the election, I have continued to speak out against policy that is damaging to small business and threatens to destroy the dreams of so many entrepreneurs in my life.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family & friends and getting up at 5am to hit the gym.
